Perhaps the user interface could be a bit more informative? I would think so. Are the developers able to make an effort in concert to improve the combat mechanics beyond the confusion of its predecessors? Sure, anything is possible. Personally, however, I wouldn't want a game that plays similar to every other game. It's also helpful to get a surprising degree of satisfaction from the Elden's repetitive die-retry loop and it's pleasing to witness FromSoftware remain true to its long-standing principles. Akin to a project that rejects modern sensibilities such as high-definition images and faster frame rates in order to achieve an aesthetic that is distinctive, Elden Ring wouldn't be such a worthy replacement to Souls lineage If it didn't ask players to modify their gameplay to its eccentricities , not the other way around.
It's important to remember that Elden Ring isn't as bad as it and its predecessors are claimed to be by diehards as well as detractors. The newopen-world format seems like a deliberate decision made by FromSoftware to offer an opportunity to those who had a blast playing other Souls games, most of which were far more linear as Elden Ring. Finding yourself stuck at a particular monster or boss in Dark Souls or Bloodborne, for instance, often meant slamming into that same wall repeatedly time until you were the wall bruised and bloody. However, The Lands Between provide much more to do and see. Many hours could be spent exploring the areas before the first major Dungeon and the check of a boss, gathering loot and increasing levels until you're able to reduce Godrick the Grafted into a pile of amputated limbs in a matter of minutes. You can even skip the fortress altogether if you've realized that you're tired of his nonsense, a viable plan for when you're ready to check out what the rest of the game has to offer.
The beauty that is elden ring items buy online is found not in its difficulty, but the little things you do between the earth-shattering boss fights. The game is about exploring each shadow-filled crevice and dark-obscured nook in the surroundings in search for things you'll never need. It's about rotating the camera just right to peek through corners and over sharp walls for hidden dangers. It's about clambering into coffins that take you up and over underground waterfalls to caverns long forgotten by time and home to elves from beyond the stars. It's about soaring over the cliffs of a dying, huge dragon or the massive branchings of a golden Tree, both of which have become so integral to the structures of a dying capital city that, long before your arrival, they've become more architecture than biology.
